Is There a Path to Growth in Africa?
Only two african countries, garner and ethiopia, have harved levels of extreme poverty. The number of people living on less than one dollar 90 a day has doubled since 19 90. This development is all the more wearing as africa only had a quarter of the worlds po in 19 90. Is this a legacy of the rapacious nature of colonialism in africa? And if it is all down to history, is there really nothing leaders can do to transform their economies and societies?
