Congress Passes the Most Sweeping Civil Rights Act Ever
Congress passes the most sweeping civil rights bill ever to be written into the law, giving all americans the right to be served in facilities which you open o the public. Jim Crow was not happy with it and filed a suit against alabama for discriminating against black patrons. The case ended up being settled out of court by federal judges who ruled that no interstate commerce could sell ribs segregate their customers.
