In 1988, I began working as a lone investigator where the group of eight teachers and a small less than 3,000 students predominantly African American low-income elementary school in Northern California. The study plagued by some kind of a selection bias with African American parents,. In this case all mothers who attended local churches suggesting who they thought were outstanding teachers. There's only eight of them. Big study.
