Jamaica's Call for Reparations
Doctor ibram kendy tells us what he thinks of jamaica's call for reparations. They're asking for more than ten billion dollars, which is the amount england compensated slave owners when slavery was outlawed. I think that potentially may be more global awareness about the logic and the common sense of a nation like jamaica request or demanding preparations. To know the history of british colonialism, slave trading and slavery in jamaica is to also hopefully know that, through the bodies and in the resources, wealth was extracted from jamaica, in and from jamaican people.
