Ren Field: A Carrying Device for Nicholas Cage's Dracula
This movie is just this like apotheosis of all the Nicholas Cage, hamminess. I also very much enjoyed Nicholas Holt's transformation as he comes into his own. When it is Nicholas Cage just being delightfully, deliriously over the top, it is such a joy. This movie does what cocaine bear did and what violent night did, but doesn't think as well. The combination of understated deadpan humor with just wildly graphic over-top bloody violence was really fun.
