Abel archer's timeing was untimely, im mang to let people get the book and learn why we avoided nuclear war in november. But i just want to ask you, how close do you think we came to nuclear war in 19 83? And how does that compare to the cuban missil crisis? I think that o some of the key differences between the an missal crisis and the crisis of 83 are as follows. One point is that by 19 83, the nuclear arsenals of both the united states and the soviet union were much more potent than they were in 19 62. Another key difference is communication, or i should say, lack thereof.
