Whale Population Depletion

Since the ten eighties, there has been a large scale moratorium on commercial whaling. Some of the recoveries are so significant that there is a controversy about whether the conservation status of certain whale populations should be changed. There's a lot more of em pro whaling groups want the classification change to reflect the greater numbers. But anti whaling activists don't want theclassifications changed because they are afraid it would lead to more whaling.
