The Fall and the Apple of Knowledge
I love the Christian story of the fall, I come back to this again and again it's so interesting so much to explore in it. The apple so we eat the apple and immediately we notice that we're naked. So what we've done is we've chosen self awareness and self will over some form of unity with everything else. We have literally walked out of the primeval hunter gather a garden. And we've walked into agriculture which leads us to civilizationwhich leads us to everything that we're in now. But it's going to take a while before we before the modern myth dies out.
