Fusion in space like a fusion engine that you put on a spaceship. It's all about getting as much energy as possible out of the same mass of fuel. Some people make the argument that it doesn't have to be such a huge, massive thing. But frankly, there's a lot of skepticism in the plasma physics community about whether this is plausible at all.
