What Does Good True Crime Content Have to Do With Racism?

I think good true crime content has this opportunity to not just take the police at their word, but instead critique these systems and ask questions about how they really do fail victims and survivors every day. And so I want to be asking questions like what systems work to fail Gabby and all the other missing and murdered women and girls out there. It's a problem because those marginalized individuals never get that kind of attention.
