Macron's Veto in the German Coalition Talks Is Absurd

Macron wants his views to be taken into account in the coalition discussions. The idea that Macron can exercise some kind of veto over who's going to be in the German coalition or the substance of the agreement seems to me to be absurd. It's hubris, I mean, is that Germany might get to have some say about other countries' domestic politics in the EU but other countries don't get to have a say about German domestic politics.
