Mormons teach that the prophet is fallible, but nobody believes it. How did we get here? And you're your historian, an what's been sort of the background leading up to where we are as we approach this issue right now? Yets a great question. I mean, my, my sense is that it began really early on, and it began by anti mormonsthes essentially setting the agenda for us. That one of the very earliest attacks on joseph smith actually in the first major anti mormon book was called mormonism unveiled. They went and they did research with people that knew joseph smith grew and out growing upd in palmyra.
