The EU's Supply Chain Traceability Regulation

The EU has passed a law requiring companies that are importing certain commodities into the block to prove via a due diligence process that those commodities did not come from deforested land. Those commodities include beef, soybean, palm oil, cocoa and coffee, as well as timber and any derivative products that come from those. If you are unable to prove that or you violate the law in some other way, you as a company are at risk of fines or confiscations.
