The technology is allowing those costs to be split out and transferred on to the customer. So now when you spend $4.50 at the counter for your coffee, you're paying an extra few cents that the retailer isn't carrying anymore. And then also in the background, the bank is probably paying out of that split. All this stuff is just kind of honey for flies to entice you to, to be involved in that world.
