The Six Major Political Regimes in the United States
According to historians, the United States has had six major political regimes. These regimes have a few traits in common: They obviously have some policy direction that kind of defines them. The presidents who tend to initiate democratic regimes are often remembered as the greats. But they usually spin out their ideological and practical usefulness and applicability eventually falls off and falters so political regimes don't last forever.
