The Wharton Initiative on Financial Policy and Regulation
Peter Bergen is a scholar at the Brookings Institution and co-founder of Wharton Initiative on Financial Policy and Regulation. The center seeks to be "the literal and spiritual center between New York and Washington, literally in Philadelphia right there in the middle," he says. He founded it with his colleague Itai Goldstein, who's a financial economist; they're trying to bring academics from both sides of the policy divide together for discussion.
