The Relationship Between Emotion and Reason
I've been frustrated with the simplistic like emotion good reason bad or reason good. It's not about whether they're reliable per se but about whether they have value you know to you inherently. He for instance really does appreciate beauty there's this fascinating passage where he comments about a rose outside the window and what a beautiful manifestation of the world it is. The other one is the one that I want to make the contrast with is well from a drop of water a logician could infer the possibility of an Atlantic or Niagara without having seen or heard of one or the other.
