The price of lumber has dropped by 40% over the past month. The drop is dramatic, but it's still twice as high as they were pre-coverd levels. So a lot of people are using this as evidence that it is transitory. But if we had a hundred % inflation in other assets and other commodities, we would be losing our shirts.
