Using Reverse Osmosis to Extract Fresh Water From Ocean Water
Lithium is found in highly concentrated salt brines. Most of the world's lithium comes from South America, but there are some resources in the United States. The way they extract that lithium from the brine is to pump it out from underground and then put it into these massive evaporation processes.
