Is Julia Still Compiled?

The Julia programming language has been around for ten years. It's split between just in time compiled, or some people say just ahead of time compiled. When you said agrat boke, not. So, yet, julia is still compiled. That explains how you could sometimes get the performance your talking about. And i'm reall excited about what the future looks like, just because of all the cool stuff that's happened in the last four years.
