Sleep Deprivation and Poor Glucose

When you're not getting enough sleep, two appetite regulating hormones go in opposite directions. Leptin is a hormon that signals satiety; grellin tells your brain it's time to eat more. A lack of sleep also affects the body's ability to regulate blood sugar levels. This can lead to poor gluc management and an over-indulging on food.
