There's this massive disincentive to an expert for their field to become disrupted because they're no longer the expert. And people get comfortable and know what they know. This has such disruptive long term implications that I'm sure it is scary for many. If you actually understand how it occurs, it's a nasty, bad thing. There's another way to look at it, which is the structure of these assets are causing bigger and bigger bubbles and problems.
