The National Statue of Belgium Is Mannequin Peace
The national symbol of Belgium is a statue called Mannequin Peace. The original statue was kept in the Brussels City Museum, but statues have been replaced at various times Twice it was attempted to be stolen in 1955 and 1957 and in various previous centuries it was broken as well. But the Belgians continue to identify Mannequin peace as their national symbol for better or for worse than I would suggest perhaps.
