God Is Not Man That He Should Lies

In chapter 23 verse 19, it says, God is not man that he should lie. Most of us have such a hard time believing what anyone says because we've been lied to. We have promises made to us and those promises aren't kept. What God is saying is, I am not a man. Don't treat me like one. And so when we read the New Testament and we see his promises, you know, something I caught about myself this last week is I'm good at being serious about his commands and not so good about being serious about His promises.
