The Biggest Manhunt in New York State History

The group set up camp near Route 8 just outside of the village of Speculator. The next morning on July 29, Robert is driving northbound on Route 8 and stops the car. He takes out his 30 caliber rifle and a hunting knife. Then he forces the group to walk about 400 yards away from their campsite into the woods where he stabs Danny Phillips in the chest multiple times. They are so freaked out that they're able to get out of their restraints,. They escape and report the incident to locals who alert the police. Now they know this psycho is on the loose, this murderer. Police now wonder if Danny Porter and Phillips murders are linked.
