Attention Is Recipient, Right?

The lecture model works better for the teacher at the front of the room than it does for students stuck in their desks. Attention is reciprocal, right? We pay attention to people who are paying attention to us. When somebody says your name, it sort of pops up your attention. If that person comes off the stage and walks into the aisles while they're talking, you're going to pay better.
