I don't think we're actually going to get either a stalemate or the destruction of the infrastructure to be that serious. The Russians are slowly beginning to run out of the kind of precision munitions which they're using against Ukrainian infrastructure. So long as we in the West are willing to accept the costs of continuing to support Ukraine, I think actually the Ukrainians are willing to take the costs themselves - blackouts and frankly dead bodies.
