How Do You Integrate GPS and AIS Data Into the Radar?
There are lots of other options there that are just as good and you don't have to fork out $10,000 for them. If the network fails, the Vesper is still outputting AIS data. But then the autopilot also has its own built in heading sensor. So you're trying to create a little bit of redundancy. Like they're talking to a child, they're still independent. They can talk to each other but they don't need to.
