The History of Chindogu in Japan

Kawakami has invented 600 different chindogu as o recording date, and published many book compilations of same. In the days before sellphones, a rod that you would use to put your camera further away from you and manually click a shutter if you want to be photographed standing in front of something on vacation. The most famous one are the flint shoes, which yhou're basically, you can start a fire. You know, there's enough camera ones that you can kind of tie it into the 19 80 stereotype of the japanese is, you know, the newly wealthy country travelling the world and getting snapshots of everything.
