Most of them either did crossfit weightlifting or both and about 85 percent continued engaging in heavy resistance training during pregnancy. 24 percent said they maintained their training levels until delivery which i'm not entirely sure what that means but i don't think maintaining training levels was operationally defined. Olympic weightlifting training use of the val salva maneuver and supine training didn't seem to meaningfully affect rates of pregnancy and delivery complications however women who maintained their pre-pregnancy levels of training up to delivery had about 50 percent lower rates of pregnant and delivery complications than women who scaled back their training
