Is Gender to Troubled?
For Judith Butler, gender is ultimately a social construct. But now we have this idea of gender being an innate identity that one can sense in oneself from a very young age. So I would say at a bare minimum, as soon as you start having any conversation of gender with someone, just say, okay, what do you mean by gender? And just get on the same terms of that.
