The city man walked home. His books flung over his shoulder on a belt like those old movies. Sure, it was a little weird to be with your friends, kids in school but they were respectful. There were no laws about beating up children so yeah, they kept their mouths shut. It was a strange Billy Madison situation, but they were rolling them with the punches. The first day of school? Not so bad.
