In the nineteenth century, dows were built out of wood. And these tals pli plied the trade essentially across the indian ocean in these particular sort of regional areas. They sailed with the monsoon, and they transported lots of different goods,. Anything that needed to be transported, rice, a food people from place to place. This form of business has not been displaced by the mega shipping. In fact, if anything, it has flourished alongside it.
