What Is Consequentialism?

Butnam says that consequentialism cannot be taken as the last word in ethics. In some cases, because Butnam's view in ethics is a pluralistic approach. So we really need to every time to think deeply when we have this kind of difficult decisions to make and use all the intellectual tools we have.
