Joshua, i'm reminded of the protestant reformation that kind of went along the lines of a man named luther. How did the anglican church approach these kinds of issues? We go through indulgences, ecclesiological authority, justification by grace through faith - those would probably be a good one. Joshua: Why are we constantly reforming? Well, because we're broken, sinful and in need of a saviour who constantly reforms us.
