How to Setup a New Workspace on a Mac

The windows are resizable at any size I want, it makes it really easy to do kind of a side by side thing. There's no like toggle to say by default ad or is there because I have no idea. You should be able to shift click an icon in the dock in spotlight and not just in the strip as it is right now. Apple should fix this in a couple of different ways.
