Rothko Experience

When was it that you realised the potential or power of art? I mean, was it a life experience or was it an artwork that you saw. So the Rothko painting was pretty incredible because often we weren't bad to call it. It went to the library and looked up Rothko and nearly fell from the chair and realised he'd committed suicide. And being someone who's really emotional and highly strong and when I was younger I was like, not crazy exactly, but definitely wild in every way. When I read that about Rothko, I just thought, wow, that's why I related to it. I understand how he feels. I got the feeling in that painting.
