When johnny mc coy went to julian betton's hospital room for the first time, he was told he couldn't see him because they said he was a restricted patient. It took some negotiation, but he was eventually allowed to go in and see julian. That's when he learned the extent of julian's injuries. He had his gall bladder removed, his spleen removed, he's paralyzed for the way o he, ah, had a large part of his small intestine removed. In 2015, the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit in South Carolina gave a confidential informant $100 to buy marijuana from Julian Betton. And then they broke down his door. Officers David Belue, Chris Dennis, and Frank Waddell shot at Julian an estimated 29 times.
