What Happened to Ukranians in 1932?

In 19 32, more than four million tons of grain were taken from ukraine. Calls for aid to an became increasingly desperate. In january of 19 33, pavel postyshe arrived in ukraine as stolin personal representative and implemented a series of massive purges. On new year's day of 1933, an amnesty was announced for anyone who turned in stolen or hidden grain. Anyone who didn't turn in any grain was clearly hiding something.
