Is the Brain Controlling the Organism?
Brain is fundamentally about control of the organism, concepts like feedback on it. Brain uses predictions to interpret sensory data and they are grounded in our nature as living creatures. So this path thinking about how we perceive the world and then turning it inside to the body. Leads, at least me, to think that consciousness is much more closely tied to life than we might otherwise think.
