Seizure Occurrence and Localisation in Epilepsy Surgery

Fumida: I wondered if we could just start by discussing the clinical relevance of the paper and why it is so important that we localise seizures. Epilepsy surgery offers these patients a realistic chance of seizure freedom. So in the best case scenario with epilepsy surgery, there's up to a 70% chance of seizurefreedom. Though this can be lower in some cases. An important part of the workup is to localise seizure onset and localisation based on semiology, which is the focus of our paper. It's a very vital part of this. Thank you.
