There's a pretty clear hierarchy in Scientology and imagining some implied pressure, even if people might not be as willing. Whereas my understanding is AA is more that the power dynamic is a little flatter, right? Like everybody there is an addict. Everybody there is kind of on the same level. And so I think the promises also might differ a bit.
