Is It a Choice or a Randomization?

The D 100 is kind of confusing to me. I think it'd be more satisfying as a player to choose which memory you're sacrificing. It sounds like you choose, but there was something with potency was the thing. Will the player gets to roll a D100 plus a bonus depending on the potency of the sacrifice? So, okay. That'd be fun. You could see the villain. Yeah. And then that does bring up character stuff later and you could always bring that mage back as somebody who's a bad actor or something like that. But I think people should be able to do that, especially even just once in a campaign.
