Josephine Whitaker was born in December, 1959. She lived with her mother and grandparents until the age of four. Her mother remarried and had two sons with her new husband. However, they laid a divorce before Josephine's mother settled with a new man. At the age of 18, Josephine finished school and started working as a clerk at the head office of the Halifax Building Society. On April 4th 1979, 19-year-old Josephine died after an argument with her mother over a fish tank she owned.
