Are You Optimistic?

I don't think i am optimistic. My best guess is that russia will end up either acquiring or occupying the donbas in some way. It's not as extreme a territorial aggression as if Russia were to try and absorb all of ukrane, sure. But it would be very dangerous to the health of the norm against territorial conquest if the response to russia weakened over time. And one concern that i have in this regard is that support from the global south isn't as strong as you might expect.
