The German Preparedness for the Polish Invasion
The first real military campaign launched by the Wehrmacht. There had been several instances during which there had been the possibility that it would be used in some kind of campaign against another nation. The eventual invasion of Czechoslovakia was called case green. It was a military operation a military invasion. Next episode we will continue to look at the German preparations by looking at their military equipment, military hardware, and sort of organization of their military on the eve of the Polish invasion.
