The Role of Ron DeSantis in the Trump Playbook
If I were Ron DeSantis, I would be skeptical of dealing with sort of mainstream or traditional media. Oftentimes, the things that he's been doing down in Florida by the time they percolate up to national media are often described in a way that is not particularly jazzed to him as governor. But also remember Donald Trump does not actually avoid media altogether. He does love going directly to his voters and so it'll be fascinating to see if that stylistic difference yields any benefits or has any drawbacks for DeSantis moving forward.
