The Importance of Fear in Relationships
Rabbi Abahu says a person should never impose excessive fear upon the members of his household. Judaism speaks often of Avatashim or love of God, but just as often of Iratashim (fear) Maimonides: Anyone who serves out of love and occupies himself with Torah shouldn't do so for any earthly reason.
