The Pascal Gift of the Holy Spirit in the Church
The redemption of humanity does not end with the cross and resurrection of Christ but leads to its participation in the Trinitarian life through the Pascal gift of the Holy Spirit. All baptized men and women participate as sons and daughters of God in the Son in his filial Trinitarian life, which includes participation in the mystery of co-spiration of the HolySpirit with the Father. This participation of every baptized person in the relationship between Christ and the Spirit is, in my opinion, the foundation and essence of the common priesthood of the people.
