The Importance of Divine Assistance

According to Ibn Taimiyyas, what is discursive for a given person can thus be self-evident for another. He believes that there is a rule for divine assistance, divine inspiration. The knowledge of God's attributes cannot be obtained by the human intellect alone and should not be acquired for mere intellectual purposes.
